Unfortunately not bone stock. That was the Tune Time Performance track rental. The car had a tune done to it. IMO still not bad for an otherwise stock car that heavy.
They also put nitrous on it for some other runs. Car went 12.5 or 12.6 with a 100 shot. Let me see if i can find the vids.

+1. At least they didn’t pull a Chrysler a la the Charger, 300, Challenger slut-o-matic only with the V8.
Still hoping GM makes the 6 speed an option on the GT after the GXP is released.

oh, and is it wrong for me to shed a small tear when i realized that this luxury 4 door boat with a tune and some n2o can prob kick the pants off of my car that I’ve poured countless hours and dollars into?

Wasn’t CAM only, wasn’t too much more. But was not just a cam upgrade. though I guess the minimal results from a CAI and exhaust shouldn’t really count anymore anyway.

Thats VERY VERY nice considering it is a 4 door family car that nobody would expect to move like that. I can’t wait to see/look at one in person.

I _personally_ like the Ford Falcon. However, if people were non stop crying about the 04-06 GTO’s having boring/bland/dated styling, I can only imagine what they would say about the Falcons. I was watching some V8supercar racing and the Falcon’s were doing quite well.

I still say if Pontiac would have just called it the Pontiac Monaro, or anything other than GTO 99% of the bitching about style wouldn’t have happened. The GTO doesn’t look any different than most of the sport coupe/sedan offerings from Infinity, Audi or BMW. The problem was it didn’t look anything like the old GTO, which in my opinion was a good thing because I hate the retro craze.

You and I must have been seperated at birth. I _DESPISE_ retro, if I want something that looks like a 66 GTO with vertical headlights, I’ll buy a 66 GTO. I don’t want a new Camaro that looks like a 69 Camaro, I want a 69 Camaro. I also think naming the car a GTO was a mistake as old farts thought that the new faster better handling car “didn’t live up to the name GTO,” whatever the F that means!!!

Go look at the Audi A5 if you want to see a beautiful modern coupe.
