I stoped into gander mtn last night to pick up some winter boots as I was tired of stepping into 1/2" deep slush and having wet socks. I brought $100 with me but only expected to buy some cheaper boots like $80 max. So I’m browsing and see that there is a ton of boots with orange clearance tags. I’m like sweet, these boots are marked down to 79.99. from 139.99. Good deal. As I’m walking through checking for another set maybe a little lower a guy comes through that is shopping for his kid and says. “You can’t pass these deals up. 1/2 off the orange sticker price.” At this point I start looking for another set of boots, hiking shoes and hiking shoes for the wife. All in all I walked out of gander with over $300 originally priced boots and shoes, plus $100 in clothing marked down to $25 for $100.31.

Cliff note. Go to gander mtn on colvin if you need some hiking shoes, slippers, boots; all of them are 50% off orange sticker. The rest of the store is also clearancing winter clothes and stuff but not 50% off those orange tags. Only this weekend.

The selection wasn’t the greatest for mens winter boots but the womans department was packed with clearance stuff. So I got I my wife some $90 sketchers for $17… Good birthday present next week.
