# Garage heater, not electric

Looking for a kerosene heater, maybe a torpedo, or something better that I don’t even know about.

I have a propane one like this if you are interested.

Also have a tank and line to go with it. I think the tank is full. Like new

Heats like a mother and doesn’t use a plug at all.

don’t the kerosene torpedo heaters require electric for the fan? or do you mean no electric heating coil/element style?

I think he means no electric heating, since they suck for heating garages.

Stick with a Propane style heater. they dont burn your eyes and seem to heat better. IMO I had both kerosene and propane in my garage

I have a propane torpedo I’d consider parting with. Will have to check the BTU rating when I get home, I’ll edit this post then…but it works great for my 20’x22’ detached garage.
