# gas tank/sending unit

THe previous owner of the hatch I’m parting replaced the sending unit in his 1991 hatchback. He told me it cost him $500 @ nissan. It may have 5000km on it.
Mint mint, complete with stock fuel pump. $175
and I’m dropping the gas tank anyway, so anyone interested? $75 fuel has been removed,

How much for just the sending unit no tank no fuel pump ?

well seeing as how I’ll never need a regular pump, and the sending unit is $289+tax ($332) from nissan, $175 no tax.

Yeah i wish you would have posted this like last week…lol…man i just bought the sending until for 395$ at nissan so much for something that looks like it cost 50$ maybe… ☹

I believe my unit is sold pending delivery.
BUT; it appears as though my kitchener nissan dosen’t gouge as bad as some. they quoted me $289, + o-ring $14

yeah, but the point is %75 of S13 sending units are bitched and rusted, and really should be replaced. I had to do it on both my S13’s.
The fuel pump is more or less a bonus because I’d rather not pull it off, and its useless to me.
that price I quoted (from nissan) was JUST the sending unit, no pump.
