> Question on US drift rules… are we just doing practice session or events? The reason I ask US drift rules state that for sweet 16 tournements, have a list of requirements? I think it would help a couple guys just to list the neccessary equipment that all cars must have just so we are all on the same page.

as of right now we are just planning open practice sessions…

as far as equipment goes, I don’t think we will be too stringent considering we are trying to get as many people to come as possible. For tech inspections we will most likely be looking at the following:

-no leaks, anywhere
-brakes function properly
-seatbelts work
-seats are not broken or rigged up
-suspension components(no broken tie rods, etc.)

I’m sure their may be more involved for inspections but as of right now that’s what we have discussed. I believe USDrift will be a little more lenient considering we aren’t starting off with a full blown competition.
