Ok thanks for the info. Being that my helmet is snell **and** DOT approved I am assuming it would be ok then? ---

It’s my understanding (correct me if I’m wrong) that the Snell rating has a fire retardent material in it, where as the bike helmets done (it’s hard to get caught in a burning motorcycle). The snell rating is just a safety standard what you are referring to is the SA or M classification. SA refers to special applications and is lined with nomex. M is motorcycle and has no fireproof lining. ---

Solo is not just limited to SA helmets. ---
