# general altimax tires

Are these any good? My sister needs new tires for her TC and I’m trying to price her out some. These are the ones I’m looking at as they have good winter ratings.

If it looks like a rat and smells like a rat, it’s probably a rat.

Translation: I wouldn’t count on that tire working in the winter especially with that bar in the center, that’s a summer tread design.

meh, it’s an all season, so part of it is dedicated to summer and some is to winter.  
so it’s not awful really because of the bar.
