Yeah, so I just found out today that I have rheumatoid arthritis. I hurt my knee at work almost 7 months ago, went back to the comp doctor to see why it wasn’t getting better…He drew bloodwork, I got the unofficial results from the nurse in the office today. I have to go back to see him on the 19th, when he will almost definately say it’s rheumatoid arthritis. Great. Oh btw, I’m 19. Guess I should probably get some health insurance, eh?:sadwavey: ---

Sorry to hear that. My little one was having some leg problems and that’s one of the things they said it could have been. Some insurance companies will have clauses about pre-existing conditions, but usually if it’s through an employer it’s easier (and cheaper!). Good luck to you. ---

My patient that I take care of (I’m a home health aide) switched agencies, I was rehired by the new agency. Today is actually the first day of them taking over, and I would have to wait 6 months to get their health insurance. I can’t wait that long. I start nursing school in August, I need to have this under control by then.
