Hes most likely talking about an apartment lease. Call the building inspector and have them condemn your shit hole

breaking a legal binder is tough. you should talk to your landlord, if he/she is good about it, maybe they will let you off the hook by just losing your first/last months deposit you made(if you made one for both)

My dad said to try and sublet the lease out. Aka find some one to take over your lease. If not push harder for the building inspector to find the house inhabitable. That or hurt your self on some faulty part of your house and sue

I doubt it… guy just called and said if I dont pay or find someone to pay, hes going to file a lawsuit. I was told that the DA’s office is cracking down on slumlords, so i was thinking about calling them. Then seeing if I could have a building inspector condemn the house and if absolutely necessary I will hire a lawyer.
The apt is filled with mice/squirrels. The stove leaks gas when the gas behind the stove is turned on, this should not be. The oven does not work because it lets all the heat out. The refrigerator does not close all the way. There is a sinkhole in the bathroom floor. My back door which leads directly into my room is held by one small lock. Many of you have seen my apartment and know how it is.
For those of you who have came to my apt and took pictures, please post them up, they could be valuable for my case.
