so what if you’re sending your bumpers to him in the same packaging. Is he going to be able to return the bubble wrap and boxes to get his $$$ back.

Pay him. You agreed upon shipping price, and terms of the deal, so pay it.
If they had came damaged I can see where you’d try to re-coop price, but in this case you are wrong.
What he actually pays for shipping vs what you agreed on doesn’t mean you get a refund. I charge 10-15 for shipping everytime on eBay even though I know USPS Priority is $4.10.

ok. i told him when i did this i’ve never had to ship anything this big, so i guess i wasnt sure how much it really cost to ship something this size. and i’m just frustrated becasue he said all i had to pay for was shipping charges, and then 2 days ago he says all this other stuff. but w/e.
and i’m going over the bumpers now anyway, and i think i have some issues with them that he needs to explain. (cracked holes, chips out of the paint that were painted over) i’m not doing any more deals this way, i’m traveling from now on regardless.

i’m not appoligizing until i hear why the bumpers are in the shape they are. The right headlight spot is cracked all to hell, theirs a chip in the paint (about 3/4" in diam.) that he painted over, there is a long crack on the left side of the bumper where he filled in one of the ‘vent’ spots, as i already said the screw holes are cracked and/or broken, plus the driver side corner of the bumper (wheel well section) looks like it was dragged across the ground for some time.
the rear has a huge chip out of the left side next to the taillight (where the bumper meets the quarter panel, probably 3/4" long and 1/32" deep),
it is not going to be cheap to fix/repaint. i have pic’s but i dont feel like putting them up right now.

And no, this isnt the shape the bumper was supposed to be in based on the pictures and described to me. The problems that i’m seeing now would not be seen in even in close up’s unless you find a seller willing to take 100+ pictures of the item.

Listen, you bought used instead of buying new and having them installed/painted yourself which would have cost slightly more. You agreed to pay the man his money after knowing they we’re used. Not sure if your aware, fiberglass front and rears never remain perfect if driven on the roads.
What did you expect by posting here?

to vent. i paid him 4 weeks ago, took him a week to ship them out, they are supposed to be in good shape thats why paid more for them, and now he wants an extra 300$ from me, for stuff that i wasnt supposed to pay for originally, but he took something the wrong way (i was only supposed to pay for shipping if we did a trade for my ps3, but he took it as no matter what i was paying shipping, but because of my status and his status, an argument wouldnt have gone to far- same thing as a senior member here who new he was leaving taking advantage of his ‘status’)
i really dont care about what the responses were, i just was f’ing pissed that it took him a week to send it out to me, but he couldnt wait 2 days for it to get warmer outside so i didnt freeze my balls off trying to put them on, and said i have to gime him 100$ for 75$ worth of packaging materials.
