Had a meeting with the Dunnville Autodrome last night and booked a few days for The Onyx Syndicate. We spoke about the possibility of hosting a track day for the purposes of determining the fastest 240sx on SON. Would use the Onyx timing system (laser-based, not GPS), run all registered cars… winner would get a free day in one of Dunnville’s open wheel race cars… Day would have about 4-5 hours of open lapping, 2 hours of competition, 2 hours of more lapping. If successful we could runa second day with the opposite track lay-out. 30 of you guys interested in this sort of thing? Maybe tell ADAM H. he has to take a 1 second penalty? Cost would be ~$120 per car. ---

So the only restriction is that it’s an S-chassis? Would be fun, but I know I’m definitely not the fastest… or even near it. I would put my money on bastard child. ---

Dunnville cannot allow drift again this year… but it’s a friendly track and they are motivated to see us out there… this is one way to do that. Should a good healthy competition and hopefully will bring alot of guys out just to see everyone else. ---

there are alot of sharp cars on here… i’d love to put mine up agianst Brigger’s drift machine on the track. ---

Its completly fair! Not even once last year did I do even 1 lap around a track without drifting! Wasn’t planning to this year either ---

lol… in addition to the offer from Dunnville i’d be willing to throw some cash on it just to make it more interesting. Maybe take R-comps out of the equation to equalize it a bit because only a couple people will have those anyways (ADAM, Conky) ---

I say we should have categories for different 240s though…Street/Stock vs Unlimited? It’d be nice to see who has the fastest stock 240 as well as the fastest moded to hell 240. EDIT: I have my money on Conky though. ---

first half of summer… and who cares about stock 240sx’s? i suppose we can have mild / wild classes but still… since it’s not door to door racing it wont matter whether we class them before or after the race… do it just to get a time and then poke fun at anyone you beat. ---

i dont think a lapping competition would be able to determine the fastest 240sx on son, i think its would help determine the better driver on son, too many variables i think… me and u on the track, stock car, same everything , ur gonna whoop my ass, now take a car like umm i dunno urs , and put it up against adamH’s car with someone not as good as u(like me) driving and there a good chance ur not gonna be faster ---
