# Gin Recommendations? Jam come inside...

My sister and her new husband love their gin & tonics so I want to get them a good bottle of gin for christmas. I was thinking Bombay Saphire, but what else do you recommend? If it’s somewhat obscure, then where can I get it?
I’m thinking $30-$50.

Tanqueray Ten is pretty good but saphire is the best i have tried. Saphire martinis extra olives for the win!

if youre going to drink bombay you might as well drink bartons in my honest opinion.
Millers. (the 80 proof, not the 92 proof. make sure you get the 80 proof!)

depends what they like
i like sweet, and dont much care for bombay. what do they normally use for their t&t’s?
like i will drink 10 straight all day long… no need for the tonic

They’re always drinking tanqueray. Is 10 just like a special tanqueray or something? I wish they liked whiskey instead of gin, I’d know exactly what to pick them up…

ZD’s got a good point. Since tanq seems to be their choice, a special tanq is probably a good gift.
