this girl i was going out with last year; she, her mom and I went out for dinner one night. She drove. So on our way back, i noticed her temp gauge was skyrocketing. I told her, and told her to pull over. She said “eh, it’s probably fine.” I told her the severity, the consequences, etc, and she’s like “it will be alright.” When she dropped me off at my place I told her to come sit inside for 15 minutes, I would top it off and she could at least get home. She said “oh, I only live a few blocks from here.” low and behold, the next afternoon I find out her car didn’t make it, she smashed some valves and warped the head, having to pay ~$1500 to fix. I TOLD her the problem. I TOLD her the consequence. and she still did it anyway ---
