# GM takes Toyota sales crown (for now)

Toyota had been growing at a 7% clip through June, but only had a 4% growth rate in the 3rd quarter.  
While GM had a 4% growth rate in the 3rd quarter as well. (most of the growth is China and overseas so you probably did not notice it)
