yeah, fuckin ruined my day when i saw that in my email this morning.
I just bought my hero2 with wifi backback in July…
keep in mind, not all the wifi shit they talk about works yet. The app is only for iphone right now (droid is coming soon) and the “live view” has like a 5 second delay from camera to phone, so really its only good for lining up a shot.

While the $399 Black Edition is nice, it is beyond what I will need, but the ability to take 12mp shots @ 30fps is a good feature.
I am still look at the SONY action can due to form factor if I have $$$ left for that sort of stuff…

I plan on picking up the black edition for a 100 more then sliver you get more features and a remote fuck it. They got me by the balls.
