…become a admin/mod. Id be slapping 24 hour bans on some of you people like crazy. When I first started posting here I asked myself if I really wanted to be a part of this. All this flaming. Im sure alot of new members feel the same way. I almost signed out and forgot about my account like Im sure soo many others have. I read around and realized that there are some good people here so I figured Id give it a shot. Im glad I did, I see some real potential here. But damnit, Im tired of clicking on a thread and reading about shit that has nothing to do with the thread. /rant ---

after some time…you just get used to it i guess. i used to get all pissed at first, but now i dont really care. plus if u meet most of the ppl on here in person, youll find that they r cool for the most part. ---

End of story. yeah but what would be the fun…? i think it’s a great site… if you don’t have tough enough skin to post on the internet, i’d hate to see you product in the real world… we talk shit, but we live up to it. this was created as a street racing board… so it was mainly talking shit on other cars and lining up races… the fact that most of us are on the internet all day long lead this to be a soap opera… it still has racing roots… no doubt… but it’s not a board to come meet friends and hang out at restaurats… ya know? sure it’s tough on some noobs, but that’s what’s fun… we were all noobs once… i was and imagine the shit talked on me (vw owner, let alone 2002)… once i showed up at the track and made my way around town we were all cool. take smokey for example, he hated me becuase i got on his ass about roll racing and vettes… i still think c4’s are garbage and could kill one any day, as i’m sure he thinks vw are :greddy: and vettes are hardcore… but we can act civil in person… know what i mean? ---

Maybe 8 years ago, but today so much is done on the interent that opinion no longer applies especially on a local forum like this where you will eventually run into these people unless you hide behind the screen all day and never come out. ---

Yeah I guess. Maybe this isnt the forum for me then… I mean I dont drag race, my car isnt anywhere near ready to auto-x, hell I cant even drive it right now and prolly wont for some time. Basically, I was just looking for people to hang out with and have a good time that are into the same things as I am. ---
