I agree…but when I first started my Dad bought me a cheap used set out of the pennysaver…old school wood woods…old rusty Arnold Palmer Irons…then the next year I got a beginners Dunlop set and I could tell they made a huge difference. But yes if you are hacking away and barely making clean contact it doesn’t matter what you are swinging.

Then there are the guys who buy drivers for $500 and they still hit it like 200 yards with a slice…I always get a laugh out those guys. But it is like any hobby, once you get into it you get into it you get all crazy.
