Mt. Lebanon Public Information Officer Ken Truver told Channel 11 that officers were attempting to serve a sexual assault warrant on Nathan Cole around 1 p.m. When police entered his Green Tree Road basement apartment, they said Cole had a shotgun pointed at himself. Police exited the apartment and called for backup. Green Tree Road between Mansfield Avenue and Pocono Drive, including the ramp to the Parkway West, is closed. Several surrounding buildings, including Boston Market, have been evacuated. No shots have been fired. Refresh this page and watch Channel 11 for updates. ---

spikesblazin from this board lives practically in site of that building I guess. He said they were closing off roads and wouldn’t let them leave their houses. He was origionally under the impression it was a sniper. Maybe he will chime in for first hand perspective. ---
