the more 18 year olds intoxicated = more drunk driving deaths imo. first, they don’t have control of a car that they have not been driving for a long time (more than 5 years of driving exp, I don’t think so), second they are drunk. Alcohol has a greater affect on younger minds imo, and kid’s think they can tolerate it and make it home safe… I have my doubts.

Completely agree that the going to war = drinking thing can be thrown out the window.

They broke the law. They’re 18. They have laws for a reason.

Anyone else remember (AleroKid?) Brian Cellini’s party a few years ago? Similar thing. They were calling parents for anyone under 18. Anyone with ID over 21 was free to go.

Thats how I feel.
If you can be shipped overseas and be allowed to kill people I think you should be able to sit down and have a beer or 2 or 3 or however many you want. IMO

QFT when all the iraq shit was starting up i was 18 and my mother took me to the bar (she allways was against underage drinking) she thought the draft was gonna start up again and said if i was old enough to die for my country im old enough to drink.
Why would they tow everyones car if no one was in there car they had no right they coulda been getting a cab or spending the night. I would fight for the impound fee that is bullshit. They mustve been some bored asshole cops.

:word:

there are less drunk driving incidents where the age is less than 21, if you are brought up with it, you learn to treat it with more respect and learn what you can and can’t do at an early age, if not you are a moron.

Thats bullshit that they let the people that were over 21 leave. They should have been in equal amount of trouble. More or less they should have been fucked for buying alcohol for minors.

The homeowner (his mother) was held accountable.

Changing the drinking age would cause so many problems it’s not even funny. It would take too long for people to get used to it and be as easy going about younger people drinking like how they are in Europe.

MAYBE if they only changed it by a couple years, and went down to 19 like in Canada, it could happen, but even still. America isn’t ready for something like that. We’re way too impulsive.
