# Good tranny shops?

I’ve called around to a few around town, and so far Pro-tech Transmissions seems to be my best bet. Anyone know of any reputable transmission shops? I just need to get my clutch swapped here soon (when my kit arrives).

you + engine lift = doing the clutch yourself for way less
just putting it out there.

I don’t have the time to do that shit myself man… I’d rather send it to a shop for 4-5 hrs than fight with it for god knows how long… I’ve heard as long as 16hrs DIY (which is probably will as I’m not very knowledgeable of this shit)

Talk to Clutch and Grab transmission. I think they are on 50th or 75th street

I 2nd the “doing it yourself” part. Ask around here there are people that have done clutch jobs many times and there might be some that are willing to lend a helping hand.
Whichever route you decide to go to **DO NOT GO TO ALBERTA DRIVELINES!!!**

I dunno man… My time constraints are pretty tight… I have to be able to get it done in a weekend if I were to do it myself. Anyone out there think they could give me a hand? I’d definately reimburse you for your time and effort.

It is easy a weekend you can do 10 clutches on these cars…a beginner shouldn’t take more than an afternoon.
