Toyota is probably thinking of using the Scion line for their “performance and tuning” line of cars… Maybe they will release something baller soon (no dis to tC owners…)

Yep. Brand re-alignment. They got tired of trying to convince young people that some Toyota’s were cool so they just went another route. Hopefully Scion will get a nice little MR car now. While the tC is pretty cool they can’t expect to replace the MR2 and Celica with an xA and xB.

You mean official like how the article was dated on July 2004? or as official as there hasn’t been a 2006 Celica or MR2 at dealerships?

On another note, Toyota will be the #1 producing car around the world. GM is dropping their production and Toyota increases theirs, making Toyota the #1 car producer in the world by a couple hundred thousand.
