Or should I say… 19 months popular. It didn’t take off, the first few months of its life…therefore leaving its creators in debt. and Its pretty impressive that a company less than 2 years old, can be worth 2 billion dollars. This is going to be a huge moneymaker for google. Especially since they own google video as well. if you can’t beat the competition, buy them. ---

badazzss: yep… and 1.65 billion, although in stock, is an amazing deal since google hasn’t actually gone DOWN since it became public. i think it started at around 100, went to 200, split… went back to 250… split… then just kept climbing back to around 425 now… the youtube creators and board just make a fcking KILLING ---

joe you’re right… no splits… coulda swore i saw them split before. well in any event, 5 years ago it came out at $ 100, has had a high of ~$ 475 this january, and is now at a strong ~$ 425… not too bad of an investment over time… especially not if u have 1.6 billion worth. lol ---

the first time google gets sued into oblivion for copyright BS it’s gonna be ugly. If they get back to around $450 i’d drop it like its hot. ---
