I just got my 20b 2 days ago!! For those of you that don’t know, the 3rd gen rx7 came with a 13b-rew which is a 2 rotor 1.3 liter twin turbo engine. The 20b is a 3 rotor twin turbo engine that comes out of a Mazda Cosmo. The Cosmo was only sold in japan (to bad we never got it), and only came with an automatic transmission. I bought this engine to put into my rx7. My 5 speed tranny will bolt up to it, but I need a custom made subframe to mount this engine. I’m going to get the engine ported and install some ceramic seals. I have a t72 turbo to put on also. Should make 600whp easy. Thanks! Its going to be awhile before the car is back on the road. I paid $3500 for the engine (could have had the whole front clip, but I didn’t need it). ---

dude. Im sorry, but I have to say something. I think its absofuckinglutely awesome with what you’re doing with your car. A built tri-rotor swap… I would give my left nut to have that setup. The FD3S is one of the sexiest cars ever made, and having one that puts down 600hp is just…perfection. The fact that you are doing all this yourself (or as much as humanly possible) makes me swell up inside. That is a hell of a hard swap, major props for not just sending it out to some shop and showing up and writing a check. However, this is where it all goes wrong. The bodykit. Please, for everything that is good and holy, go for a cleaner style with your body modifications. You really have a gem there. Get rid of all the gaudy bodwork. That shit is sooo 2001 (if ever at all, really… [IBPRELUDECOMMENT]). Restore the natural bodylines. They bear the luscious curves of an angels bosom. A Nymph sent down from God, Perfection in every crease and bend. Cliff Notes: De-Rice teh FD ---

Thanks for the complements darkstar! Sorry, I like the veilside kit. Also it has one of the biggest openings for a front mount intercooler. lt1 power: It is more reliable than a 13b when making the same horsepower, beacuse it is doing less work to make the power. It is pretty much a 13b with another rotor housing slapped on, so when pushing it to its limits, it won’t be any more reliable, but will make more power. ---
