I could a hole. Sometimes its tricky to “downgrade” from vista to xp because some newer hardware was designed to run on vista and newer but a lot of times it is do-able. I am running xp on my vista laptop.
You have a Dell XPS right? Shoot me the model number and we can go from there. Also, getting a version of windows is an other story…

I just acquired a laptop from Circuit City while they were closing. I’m gonna fuck around with my old one. Possibly Linux? And isn’t Windows 7 basically a Vista re-skin?

get a slimmed down version of xp pro sp2 , stick with 32bit and dont do the 64 bit xp deal , in my opinion anyways…
