# got my first ticket tonight...

well. long story short. took off at a red light, watched my speedo hit about 70 when I decided to slow down to about 60. I see a random car pull out behind me I slowed to about 50. Well, a mile to a mile and a half down the road, I see red and blue lights behind me. Pennsylvania’s finest.
Wrote me a ticket for doing 78 in a 50???!?!? :bash: Anyway, will I get my license revoked? I’m only 17 and still on my junior license.

you wont get it revoked, im 16, still on my permit, and got a ticket for driving w/o a liseced drive in teh car, and i can get my jr in like 15 days

Not to doubt your 16 years of infinite wisdom but you don’t know shit. More than likely you can get by without it getting suspended. However 26-30mph over the limit is 5 points on your license. Plead not guilty and take it to the magistrate. You may be able to get it reduced a bit. Shaggy is right, one more offense will make you take a points test. I believe the limit is still 7 points. Don’t “pay the ticket and let it go”. Secondly “slow the hell down unless you know no cops are around”. Then what? Smash into another car driving like an asshole. In case you didn’t notice 99.9% of the racing talk on here is on the track. For the most part the people on here are all responsible with their rides and keep it on the track. Take out your 2 big nawz bottles and slow the fuck down paul walker. To sum up for mtparker. Fight that shit, cause one more bullshit charge and your screwed if you don’t. Hope you have a good job.That is going to be an expensive ticket. When you fight it ask the cop if you can plead to a lesser offense. Who cares about the money your insurance is going to make you pay for a long time witha ticket like that. There’s the real money.
