Well, I’m not going to get into it here. But it seems every dog attack on the news is Pitbull related. (Or at least a large majority) Not saying the owners aren’t dumbshits though. What do you expect is going to happen when you let your dog just run around aimlessly.

My pit/staff is a great examples of the breed . Christ my kids climb all over him torment him a little and he plays right back . Fuckin asshole dog owners are the problem and the bully breeds respond well to proper training and don’t attack butt everyone that has one that has a problem with one is due to neglect or some punk Fuck that thinks he is hard . That and the media only shows the pit attacks not the lab ones or whatnot . Remeber the media feeds on drama

How does your Pit behave in an unfamiliar environment with other animals and lots of people it doesn’t know, though?

Great he has been to mechanicville. Carnival , both fairs, petco,etc he is fine . Is trust him enough to cut him loose in a room full of kids screaming and such and he would.lick em to death . Only time he gets aggresive is if he is wit my kids and some other dog barks and shows aggression towards them .

I actually have a guy down the road from me who is rescuing them. They are some of the best dogs going if you train them properly. Any dog can become aggressive, some people just aren’t prepared for any dog, much less one that has the ability to cause a lot of damage. Get a Pomeranian and see if you can handle that.

Cool John, I know a couple of pits that I feel the same way about. One in particular that’s been around kids/other dogs it’s whole life, you could punch the thing in the face and it would just look at you like ‘WHY?!’. lol.
Then the thing sees a motorcycle going down the neighbors driveway and flips the fuck out, chases it down, and has to be restrained until it chills out.
They’re just weird, he’d seen that motorcycle regularly, same guy riding it, etc.
Also I love the type of people who say ‘no pits aren’t dangerous, you just have to know how to raise them’ and then proceed to essentially beat them when they do something wrong. :rofl

That’s the media at work, man. How many dog attacks do you think happen a day vs how many you actually hear about? My mother in-law’s retarded ass German Shepard / basset hound mix has bitten people on multiple occasions, they were even sued for it. He’s a normal ass dog. I’m willing to bet that it would have ended up on the news if it was a bully breed.
My mother was maimed by a collie when she was a kid and had to have reconstructive surgery on her eye. LASSIE… NOT PETEY FROM THE LITTLE RASCALS… FUCKING LASSIE IS A BITCH.

You guys see the mail lady’s face that was attacked though? Fuck that. If some dog attacked me (assuming I was innocent) like that I’d fucking shoot it, no question. Whether it’s the dogs fault or owners fault it wouldn’t matter, hell I’d shoot the owner too. I’d probably get more jail time for shooting the dog.

I agree. You can’t reliably rehabilitate an animal like that. It’s just like abusive parents causing their children to become serial killers/rapists, I don’t care how you got that way, the fact that you are that way decides your fate.

Hes an Aussie Cattledog also called a Blue Heeler. As long as you have had a few dogs in the past you can handle a Cattledog but I would never recommend one for a first time dog owner. They can be skiddish around strangers, they play very rough so they arent the best if you have small children, and they will constantly test their owners. 95% of the time they are big clowns but the other 5% of the time they are absolute bastards. The breed is a mix between Dingo, Collie, and Bull Terrier so its really no suprise they are a bit wacky but you’ll be hard pressed to find a dog with more personality. ACD’s are on just about every single top 10 most intelligent breeds list so once you break them a bit and they become obedient they are a very rewarding pet to own. As for how athletic the breed is id say youd have a hard time finding a more all around athletic dog. Theyre fast, strong, intelligent, and extremly durable.
Plus Ogie hates SRS BZNS so that scores him more awesome points

The woman that got her face tore up was “headed to the ATM”…in the middle of the night… in hamilton hill
the letter carrier i thought wasnt injured nearly as bad as her.
