Ive got nothing against buying a car from Japan. I just dont see paying big money for something that came from there 20 years ago.
I even owned a car from Korea.

My friend had an '89 Celica, paid $90 for it, drove it like he stole it, parked it on his shop’s lawn for a few months, started it up and drove it. 3 quarts low on oil.
Then we stripped it and he did a demo derby at the Cobleskill fair with it. Was doing good until the clutch blew but the car still ran.

those demo derbies look fun too but Im scared to do one. Ive stripped more cars than I can count for them though.
