Not on a volume level since like you say, not much waste is actually produced. Its just radioactive and its a long term problem. I will agree that LONG term, a solution needs to be found but if you realized how much waste was generated from actually creating power and the fact that arms grade is being converted for fuel use, you’d change your tune quickly. The problem with Yucca Mountain is, they wanted to put EVERYTHING in there.
