The thing with yellows is that you are supposed to come to a stop if safe and neccessary and pass through when unsafe or uneccessary. It’s got cops discretion written all over it. Because he is probably going to argue that you could have safely stopped at the intersection, but chose to try an run the yellow a d it turned red before you crossed the intersection. The usual bullshit. It’s the perfect ticket to hand a guy really. Good on you for fighting it. He probably will not show up, but request a full disclosure once things getting rolling to be safe.
