thinking about getting this game, is it worth it?

I would say yes. The demo doesn’t to the full game justice. The handling isn’t forza by any means, but overall the game is worth the money. I’ve been playing it on the PC w/ the settings maxed out and using the 360 wireless wheel and pedels, and i love it. Open wheel racing on it is a blast, especially with the paddle shift.

The collision detection is sometimes off, by a lot, but with the ‘restart’ feature they have it’s not all that bad. I grabbed a quick video with my camera after it f’ed me over big time- will post youtube video once it finishes uploading. But here’s a quick pic of how bad:

I liked the demo, and I loved DiRT. I think I’ll snag this when somebody makes a FS: for it. :tup:
