i agree with you, i love grip! I dont like the entire judging aspect of drifting cause it can be bias like i have seen at Cayuga!! Example: man spun twice and still won 😕 you know he had a friend judging the drift contest that day!!!..  
Road Racing you spin your in the back of the pack and have to EARNNNNNN getting back to the top, nobody can be bias there.🆒
