just a quick update, i apologize that the bulk of this shipment is taking a while. there are two shipments of mine being ‘investigated’ by customs at the moment. hopefully i’ll have them ready for pickup by the end of the week. ---

Alright, so apparently this tire thing is becoming a mini business for me. Now that I can order single sets at a time I don’t really need to do the group buy scenario thing anymore with the exception of just getting the word out so for now, probably for the remainder of the winter months I’m going to resort to doing weekly orders every sunday. I’ve been ordering an average of around 3 sets of tires every week and to cut costs I’m going to let them orders accumulate until the weekend each week and combine them all in to a single shipment. It will not only cut down on shipping costs, but also brokerage costs and above all it makes it easier for me to manage one larger shipment per week than 3+ small shipments a week. Next season I might do something a little bit more formal, maybe setup a bi-weekly group buy just for SON or something of the sort. I’m still not really doing this as a business because as soon as I do all of a sudden the operating costs are going to up which means so are the prices. Anyway, mostly just thinking out loud here so you all know whats going on - I did the math just now and realized I’d sold over 300 tires and/or wheels to SON over the past 5 months and thought that it was pretty badass - no complaints so far although a few mixups in the shipments which have all been dealt with and I think everyone is satisfied. I think even some tire shops probably dont move this kind of volume haha. ---

Thanks Renny! Samson, I’ll PM you shortly. As stated above I’m not going to be doing more formal group buys for now, just doing weekly orders as orders come in. I’ve literally been placing orders almost every single day for the past couple of weeks… it’s rediculous. 12 tires showed up today, I ordered 8 today, 4 yesterday, 4 the day before… etc… you get the point 🙂 ---

hey john can you get any Bridgestone LM-25 winter tires? something that has high speed winter tire characteristics like the LM-25? maybe even the dunlop 3D? Vehicle: 2007 Infiniti G35 Type S (RWD) Owner wants 17" steelies. I think the recommended size is 225/55/17? Let me know what comes up on your end. Thanks ---

No, they are H-Rated (up to 210km/h) plan on going pretty fast this winter? 😃 just FYI, the “H” in 225/55 **H** R17 is the speed rating. ---

just so people think im not slacking off on rich, we spoke about his request already and i think he might be getting those wheel pictured 😃 😃 also **I HAVE AN UPDATE FINALLY** there are over 100 pieces arrives at my doorstep tomorrow morning, im truly scared shitless but im relieved and excited. i apologize to everyone for the delays - there was two pretty large shipments being “investigated” and it took them over a week to clear it at customs! probably closer to 2 weeks actually. i think I have a few people who aren’t very happy with me right now given the current weather situation 🙂 Anyhow, I just wanted to let everyone know who participated in this group buy that i have the shipment scheduled for tomorrow morning and by early afternoon, assuming it arrives, I will have pm’d everyone who is involved in this group buy with their totals and we’ll schedule pick-up times on an individual basis. thanks again to everyone and thanks for you patience… I don’t think I’ll be doing orders this large anymore in the future 🙂 ---
