# GSX auto to manual swap

I’m tired of having issues with my 2g gsx auto trans. so im thinking about doing a swap

i found 1 write up on it but im looking for some help and parts  
or if anyone just wants to do it?

parts ill need  
well i need all the parts

tranny  
clutch  
flywheel  
pedals  
shifter assembly  
rear end

yada yada yada

does anyone have any parts? or has someone done it

wouldnt it be cheaper to just rebuild the trans with stronger parts? Also, my friend just got one of these with auto. What kind of 1/4 mile are you running?

ive done it to 2 fwd and 1 awd 1st gens.

its never seen the track. i havent had it running long enough in a length of time to make it to the track.

i dont know what it would cost to do the swap. but i know to rebuild my trans (which only has 10k miles on it and was bought new from mitsubishi) will cost over $2000 to get it rebuilt to stock. Buschur and Shep wont even look at it since its auto. and i dont know anyone that would rebuild it and maybe have some kind of warranty.

i would love a 5speed tho.
