do you guys really get into a video game this much? it’s just a damn game. no wonder this country has an obesity problem. All you gamer freaks sit around and play games and eat doritos all day. lazy bastages BTW - i’ll probably go over my brother in law’s this weekend and play it for 8 hours straight. 😃 ---

There are tons and TONS of races that you buy cars for now. You actually win a very small (smallest in any GT game) percentage of the total number of cars in the game. You buy the rest. Money is incredibly easy to come by in this game, much more so than previous GT games. What counts is your racing performance/spec points. If you think that somehow rationing your money at the start of the game is going to somehow make the game more rewarding or challenging, you’re going to be crying your eyes out when you start winning tons of cash and you can buy lots and lots of cars. The point of this game is high A-SPEC and B-SPEC points (plus the usual challenges of getting golds and top times). I’ve found that I’ve modified many, many less cars than I ever have done in a GT game, simply because the game is much, much, much more geared towards driving stock cars than any other game. For the vast percentage of the game, if you’re heavily modifying cars, you’re going to get terrible spec points. And less car modifying = more money to buy other cars. ---
