# GTI = GLI??

I’m looking for a family car (with a little performance of course)…What is the main difference between the two besides the body styles ( I need the 4dr thing)…Are the engines the same?? How easy to mod?? Are these good reliable cars?? Thanks for the help, Jay…

isnt there a 4 door GTI?

robherself can probably cover this as he humps VW so hard now they are rubbed raw.

the newest (mkv) are 4 door gti’s

IF your looking for mkV yes you can get the GTI in a 4 door. they have the same setup pretty much performance wise…engine, suspension.  
They are easily modable, and a chip does wonders

its if you want a hatch or a sedan

I personally think the new jetta’s are ugly. The mkiv gli’s are sex.
