Any body see the ad for the GTO last night during monday night football. All you see is smoke and at the end you see the wheel spinning with smoke just pouring off the tires. How fucking cool is that for a car comercial. ---

cool ad, but the body is too bonneville… i wish they would have tried to go retro (more angular) or a totally new direction. ya know, bring it back with some noise… they seem to be sneaking it back in… i don’t know, i’ll shut up now. ---

well they are sneaking it in cause people crapped on it cause it looks like a Grand prix. Also the price tag is a lil much. I don’t thou that angular would be right for the GTO, those 70’s goats were pretty round for those times. Chevy i think did a great job making the MCSS look modern but have the 80’s SS look. My friend is buyin the third one the comes into her dealership so i’ll be getting a test drive. If i could just learn how to drive a stick b4 then :dunno: ---

seen one rolling on the power tour nice and well put together car not my taste in looks but performance its pretty badass ---

I just read the car and driver article on the new gto. 14.0 in the 1/4 .88 on the skidpad. It sucks that gm finally gets a good idea then kills it by building a pos. I’m sure the aftermarket will be huge, but gm still fucked up a nice idea from the factory. ---

its basically a novelty car anyway. I’m sure once the RWD platform for the grandprix/montess comes out in late 05 they will have made much better improvments in performance. ---
