Hell yeah! I ditched my AC a long time ago. I was sick of paying over $200 for just about anything and everything I had to replace in the system. I removed EVERYTHING. The front condenser, the compressor (usually the 1st to go), the accumilator, the rest of the lines, and even dug into the heater box inside the car to get the evaporator out. Probably a lose of 30lbs+/-~ all together. My only pieve with not having AC…when its like 80 something out, humid as fuck, and raining. I’m pouring sweat those days.
Just be careful, once you start removing stuff to cut weight, it gets addicting. Before you know it, you’ll have removed your intire HVAC system (all the plastic heater core housing, the ducts under/behind the dash) ect…like 60lbs. :snky:…just sayin’ 😉
