But insiders tell that this isn’t an Infiniti G35 at all. It is really a test vehicle for Nissan’s upcoming super sportscar, the Nissan Skyline GT-R._ Power for the Skyline is rumored to be a 450 hp, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, which will put power to the ground with all-wheel-drive. Naturally handling is a top priority, and it is reported that Nissan has contracted with Lotus to help fine-tune track performance. The car in the photos is obviously made up from Infiniti G35 coupe sheetmetal, substantially modified to fit the huge tires, and with a big front airdam. This is a test mule, though, as indicated by the poor fit of the rear bumper to the taillights. The final design will be much more like the Nissan GT-R Proto concept car that has recently been show at auto shows. ---

id rather have the 450hp TT 6cylinder with the sexy exhaust and wheels on a G35 with full lux-o interior ---
