# Had some fun at Monticello Motor Club

So I was a guest at Monticello Motor Club this weekend and I saw some interesting toys…

Hot lapped with a Continental series driver in a radical SR3 RS.

Drove these all day.

And did some karting.

For those of you who haven’t heard of this place, Google it. The whole place is impressive and makes you feel poor. The track is glass smooth with awesome elevation changes, and one of the longest straights in NA. In the Radical we were seeing 130ish with tons of aero and 200hp. The SR8 version hit 167/168. The members there were approachable car lovers who actually used their cars as they were intended. Here’s an example of one owner who brought 2 cars out to play…

The Monza was pure sex and the Huayra is probably an acquired taste.

I’ve never been here. I think @MPD47 has?

There was talk last year of it getting shut down.

Either way, great cars! I’ve never seen a Zonda in person.

fucking lemons got to run a race there but for some reason chumpcar hasn’t worked something out yet… hopefully they get that fixed so I can go race there soon.

Not shut down, just less public days. I’ve been there, havent driven though. Gorgeous facility.
