Man this is a very good movie Mike Myers is the shit he is a fuckin big mother fucker in the movie but i would have to say it was a very good movie

As far as quality goes, the movie was well done, but that about it. Rob Zombie made Michael Myers out to be a hero in this new Halloween. His home and school life sucked as a child. Its almost expected that he would turn out to be a serial killer…Zombie should’ve given Mike a ‘perfect life’ as a child…that would make him seem more intimidating or just plain psycho when he goes on his killing spree at home as a child and throughout the neighborhood as an adult…

i wouldn’t say he made him to be a hero… but he gave some justification for the character.

Justifying Michael Myers totally contradicts the idea of having him be a horror movie icon. The second u give him a logical reason for killing, thats when he isnt scary anymore…

i disagree.
he still killed a lot of people who were absolutely innocent.
rob zombie is just showing influences on michael myers’s psychosis, not making him a hero.

I thought the movie was mediocre, at best. I’ve always been a huge Halloween/Michael Myers fan and I was pretty psyched up to see this movie. Needless to say I could have popped the 1978 version in and watched basically the same movie, just less F bombs, less boobs, and no childhood background.

from the sounds of it they justify myers cause he was picked on?..thats weak… i guess kelbold and harris are justified too. :weaksauce:
i’m sick of prequals, sequals, remakes… no one has any talent anymore to come up with an original idea.
