Well there is a legit reason for this next year. I will need a carry all and do have a clean background along with a previous ownership of a shotgun from hunting. I just know there is a wait and want to get on this now so I am not rushed. After I file all the paperwork, get approved, buy the gun…I can carry it in a case and shoot at ranges and stuff right? What is the next steps and cost to get the concealed weapon permit? ` ---

Bryan, instead of asking here, you really need to go check out the laws online, and when taking the course ask there, there are too many ppl here who THINK they know whats going on and id hate to see you steered in the wrong direction. ---

READ NYS law’s on this so you know. Also I can’t tell you about concealed, call the pistol permit office. I know its just more forms. I moved out of the state to GA 4 months after I got mine, so that is as far as I got. Never went as far as concealed. ---

Ya I eventually am gonna call the county. I just know a lot of people here are into shooting and hoping someone who went through the process had some info on it. ---
