I have seen a few drunks already. Tte worse being an old guy so hammered ihe looked like Mr.Laney behind the wheel in a crowded parking lot, swerving into the LCBO. I saw another ride in the bike lane then swerve onto the opposite side of the road and then back into the bike lane and almost ran the curb. Another swerving 5 series that couldt keep straight, all in the morning-maybe to avoid spot checks? That’s not cool. I haven’t seen a young dude ride hammered yet this season, seems to be the 40+ crowd which kind of surprised me.
The young people seem to be getting the message-and probably can’t afford the consequences-but the older crowd seems more apathetic and can probably afford an attorney to fight the charge, and play a technical game-I know a lawyer that has made himself a very comfortable living by SOLELY doing drunk driving cases. That’s how I goes I guess.
