# Harddrive recovery

Does any one know of a place in Buffalo that does hd recovery or repair?

PSU went yesterday and took out my hard drives. Not getting any power to the drives.

The boards on the drives are probably toasted…there is a place in Toronto that does good work I don’t know about anything local.

I had something similar happen before…I had a identical harddrive and swapped the board over but your mileage may very.

Yeah, the place in toronto is great, but expensive.

Did you try throwing it in the freezer for a few hours then hook it back up and try to get whatever you wanted off of it lickidysplit before it warms up?

no the logic board is fried - the chipset for the head controller is cooked.
