# Has anyone else thrown in the towel??

i think my winter car gets worse gas mileage then the 300zx, i always beat on all o my cars tho so i guess its my fault that i get shitty gas mileage

I am so concerned about the sky rocketing price of 93 octane that i think i will build and tune the cobra to run on 100 octane :lol: :lol:
But as stated before, i guess i am just lucky, cause the gas prices dont affect what im going to do to my car or how much i drive it at all. :gotme:

something tells me the civic may not come off the road this winter. there is no way i will be able to afford to drive my truck.

:word: thats sort of what i was saying, i feel like i’m helping by switching to a more fuel efficient car. In reality, prolly not, but it makes me feel good like this :crap:

I’m not totally going to throw in the towel, but I sure as hell am not just driving my Talon back and forth to my girlfriends like I used to, or just go out for a drive in it. I might take it out for a meet or whatever, but it will most likely sit in the driveway for 5-6 days out of the week.

i thought u drove it in the snow already.
i have no problem driving with gas prices the way they our. but iam sick of people assuming ill drive everywhere its getting really annoying. u can atleast offer gas money u cheap fucks. my main concern isnt gas. its the mileage on my car. i put 16 thousand miles in 8 months and the car was in the shop for 8month. i think iam going ot buy a beater like a tercel

my tsi is not as horrible on gas as I thought it would be…I was at 1/2 tank on tues I think it was and I drove back and forth from school (Canisius) 3 times, have been driving around the lancaster area and I still have a little to go b4 it hits 1/4 tank…but I think I might have to go fill the tank before 93 goes up in price again :snky:

I drive only when I have to go to work now. so I drive like 20 miles a week. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the expensive gas. I’m just low on funds all the damn time anyway.

yesterday on the way home from work my gas light went on. I put 10 bux in @ Delta… got a little over an 1/8th of a tank. Drove to school. Drove home. Drove to work this morning… and that damn gas light went back on.
I’m going to fill up today and let you guys know how it went. I think I am going to mug someone at the pumps… only way I can afford premium

dont forget about getting gas at the rez and what now, I’m sure they are still in the hi 2s per gallon
