# Has anyone ever been to Munich, Germany?

Will I be able to negotiate the city with absolutely ZERO German experience?
Also, if anyone’s been there, do you know of anything rad that i should check out? Places to go. Things to see…

i’ve been to germany in epcot 😛
go to a bar, get a big mug of beer, and slam it on the table. that’s what i noticed the germans do. and dance around.

yes all euro countries speak english you will be fine…
they like the effort of your trying to speak their language.
ooo… and in cities you’ll be ok… if you go out to smaller places… english may not be found…

Certainly is… but imagine going to the country. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!

Many people there speak English so you will do fine. Most younger people will also be bilingual.
Ive been to Frankfurt but Munich will be the same.

Been there. When you go to a restaurant or any other place a tourist might go they’ll have english speakers there so don’t sweat it.
My recommendation is to do what I did. Rent the coolest car you can and take it out to see the countryside. It’s gorgeous and their roads are tons of fun. I actually rented the car in another country and then drove there, but this is the company I used and got by far the best deal there:
