As long as you have the power to overcome the drag more downforce is always good. However they could probably gain the same amount downforce using other aero elements on the body of the car itself (see DTM) without having a retarded looking picnic table hanging over the front end. However that takes analysis and testing ($$$). Next he needs to use the split wing that adjusts its angle of attack through corners and during braking. ---

Hmm, good idea, but looks terrible! I couldnt run one of those even if it did help out alot, just b/c it looks so wierd! lol. I wonder if it obstructs the view any… ---

Jim Hall, 1962 Rado FYI is the former NDRA champion. I’m sure this car has no shortage of power, funding, or engineering. No surprise its fast. Could be faster with a flatten-able wing. attached to a pedal. ---
