hey I picked up a new hatch with no rust from a junkyard off an blue 89, the hatch was alligned and it was fine, anyway i took it home bolted everything together and it seems to sit to far out, it sticks out about half an inch and there more space on that top part of the glass… i dunno what to do…

Idea’s? Swap hinges from old hatch? I have a 92 btw.

was there some sort of thick sealant/caulk around where the hinges connect to the body? if so, take off the hatch, sand all that shit down, and put the hatch back on. close the hatch and then push it around to align it, then bolt it down, and re-caulk around the hinges (i painted with por15, seems to be holding up nicely).
