# Headlight problems

I have a 90 240sx with pignose and flip up lights.  
ever since i got the car the lights have been up. (stuck)

explanation

- Lights are up and turn on and off normaly but do not return down.
- When lights have been manualy turned to the down position they  
will pop up but not return down.

iv tryed the following

- visualy checking the plugs
- Dissconnecting the battary for 5 min and reconnecting
- Swaping all the relays related to the headlights
- Swaping the up down switch
- Swaping the assemably
- checking all fuses

Could someone please tell me what relay is for the headlight return (to make sure i checked the right one) and what relay is supposta be there?

Headlight RET or H/L RET

I forget if there is one or 2 and I believe its a blue relay. You can only fit  
the right color relay into the connector anyways.

well mine had 3 the same…  
all black  
and they fit…  
but the H/L ret is the same as the headlight relays… which is why i asked… because this seems od…

i have no blue relays in my car?  
is this normal?
