Heffners TTGT went 266.9mph in the mile today in FL with an 18mph headwind! The car is making well north of 1700rwhp(coming from the owner), with rumors of it making around 2200rwhp…:ohnoes

It was only a matter of time. The ford GT has a small frontal area and is a very stable machine plus the massive oiling system never hurts. Florida and Texas are both very smooth and straight. I’d love to see it run with the ECTA at Maxton where it’s bumpy and the track doglegs right. No 4 wheeled vehicle has broken 250 there yet. Track record is 241mph

Yeah, the Gt500 has a derrivitive of the GT motor, and alot of parts are interchangeable. Imagine making 2200whp on a 5.4? Jeez…
