You can get a full Ford 5.0 shortblock for $699 from 50resto, good set of heads/cam and intake and boom, all set! ---

Junkyard Explorer motor might be a good idea too since its already got decent heads and a decent intake. All GT40 shit. Too bad most Explorers were traded in on new Kia Sportages in the cash for clunkers program though so it might be hard finding a motor. ---
